Dead Rising

is an action-adventure, survival horror video game, developed by Capcom and produced by Keiji Inafune. Originally developed as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 video game console, a Wii console remake was released in February 2009 titled Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. Dead Rising was released on August 8, 2006 in North America and in Japan on September 28, 2006. The game was a commercial success. It has been introduced into the Xbox 360 "Platinum Hits" lineup, and a cell phone version has recently been released. A sequel, entitled Dead Rising 2, is being developed by Blue Castle Games alongside many of the previous developers of Dead Rising. The game is set to release sometime in 2010.

What do you think of the genre of the book you chose

The book I chose was I, Robot. Many of people today knows of the movie after the book featuring Will Smith as the main charater.It's 2035 A.D., where robots are everyday objects and are programmed to live alongside humans. Detective Del Spooner is called out to investigate the apparent suicide of the scientist behind these robots, Dr. Alfred Lanning. Spooner suspects that the death might not be a suicide, but the result of one of the robots. All robots are programmed by three laws, but Spooner starts to wonder if a robot can in fact feel emotions, and possibly murder. But if Spooner's suspicions are true, he is going to have a hard time convincing everyone.

The book has it's on and offs with boring to action. The book deliverd some interesting facts about a future far away.

How Do horror films affect you?

Horror films don't usally scare me to the point that I won't sleep at night sure every now and then I'll jump even though I know it's coming. Usally If i can't get to sleep as fast then it must have been a movie must have to do with ghost or a shakey camera effect, in which means that it looks like it was really actually film to make it look real.

Favourite horror story

I didn't like the Shining maybe because I can never get into older movies because of there style from what I see in this era of horror movies. I own this movie and I have fallen asleep through it. My favourite horror movie is Pandormium. This movie combined with sci-fi and horror. Two crew members are stranded on a spacecraft and quickly - and horrifically - realize they are not alone. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can't remember anything: Who are they? What is their mission? With Lt. Payton staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft's shocking, deadly secrets are revealed...and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined.

What Do you think about the genre?

This Genre is commonly used for many things such as books, T.V , video games. The genre gives us a thrill ride of oppertuitey meaning giving you the temptaion of want to know what will ever happen next. My Favourite movies involving this genre are Watchman , or Dark night which relates to the superhero genre. I own the Dark Knight movie at home and I always will love it. I love the things in the world that never get old.

Ms. Strongech- you know you do talk about avatar a lot, I know I know it was actually a really good movie I enjoyed it but you see i don't talk about it so much. You could relate sci-fi to something else. What i mean is that you don't have to talk so much about it. This must earrate a few students and you know this because of when we saw "Avatar sucks" posted on Milles blog so if you could refer less to the movie that would be cool but you don't have to this is a suggestion.

My review for Zombie land that had come out in late January. This movie is Rated (R) for 18+. The basic plot of zombie land starts with a 21 year old boy that had survied in zombie Wastland where movies stars Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), Emma Stone (Wichita), and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock) find each other and are a Jouney to an amssument park that is said to be zombie free. The movie offerd many laughs that sure to please many mature teens and the fun of rules to make out any

situation in "Z land" as well as all kinds of zombie kill massacuring fun
